Hi Charalambos,

have you tried to use the JDK instead of the JRE?

Best wishes,
Eva

Dear Eva, Thanks for your reply. I had  errors in my scripts. All now works fine both gui and console

With this opportunity, may I ask If  are there any developments with the collaboration with the ArcGIS Editor for OpenStreetMap (OSM Editor)?

p.s. I am very keen into participate with the developing of osm2nds, but I do not have any programming qualifications. I got a MSc in GIS and I have a very good knowledge in to use GIS software like ArcGIS.

Regards

Hi!

Currently, we do not collaborate with the ArcGIS Editor for OpenStreetMap.

Great! We will inform you as soon as we continue to develop.

Best wishes,
Eva

Hello

The plan is to create a network dataset from Germany - Potsdam on the base of OMS data from geofabrik.de. The dataset.osm is downloaded and used. The data is compacted with OSM Converter and has a size of 17mb.
I am one of the users who have the connection problem with arcobjects.jar
I think I tried everything and tested the suggestions which are already posted. I tried it with jre and jdk. I really have no more suggestions for a solution.

I hope you can help me.

The log file:

Re: Access to ArcObjects failed

Hi!

I can't clearly say why this error occurs.

Is arcobjects.jar really located at this place?

Re: Access to ArcObjects failed

Hi

Yes java is located at the given place in the batch data. Could it be the version of java? I use the newly current version 8 and i read that you use version 6. The problem is, that i don't know how to get an older version of java.
Do you know some solutions for me or other programs or use it only via commando or something else?

Re: Access to ArcObjects failed

As JavaRuntime, use the JRE coming with ArcGIS-Desktop like this or similar:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\java\jre\bin

This contains the correct ArcObjects dll.
